About Stashy

​Born in the Chill 

Stashy is the answer to a problem familiar to every year-round camper: a great evening around the campfire followed by a cold, sleepless night. We were tired of going to bed freezing and found single-use chemical packs to be expensive and wasteful. Stashy was created to be the solution: a sustainable, reusable way to bring the warmth of the campfire into the cold hours of the night.

​Advanced Thermal Storage 

Stashy isn't a throwaway chemical pack; it’s a hand-crafted, reusable heat bank powered by a special phase-change material (PCM) core. This core is safely sealed inside a tough, silicone-coated fiberglass pouch. Put simply, Stashy doesn’t make its own heat; it acts like a heat sponge, soaking up the warmth from your campfire so you can take it with you.

Placing Stashy at a safe distance from the flames allows it to "charge" rapidly as the PCM core absorbs the heat and melts. Once tucked into your jacket or sleeping bag, the core slowly and evenly releases that stored heat as it cools and hardens, keeping you warm for up to 6 hours at a comfortable 110°F.

We built Stashy to replace the need for single-use, short-lasting warmers in the wilderness. While our silicone-coated fiberglass is flame resistant and durable, safety comes first: Stashy is designed strictly to absorb indirect heat from a distance and should never be placed directly in the flames.
